Thanks E-benz.....but I have all the components....just a matter of install time...

yes stock....yes NX......:D

can we just "say" your motor exploded so you can start working on the REAL engine?

than you can donate the old broken engine to me!

yeah, but it wont be as fun as watching it next week :D  :D

Dude...you should make this a paperview event and charge for viewing rights...

It should help you offset the cost of the motor build........:D :D :D

250 shot and I will be running a bit on the rich side....112 in the tank....112octane in the fuel cell and methanol spraying....the motor isn't going to let go....it is the rest of the truck I am worried about....

you should run c-16. it's only $8.50 a gallon. still cheaper than filling your tank with torco!!

Is the 112 leaded. And if so is that ok to run in our engines??? Thanks

what you need to do is strip as much weight off the truck as possible,,,take it off ANYWHERE you can ,,,front ,,,back,,,,bottom or top,,,just take off as much as you can,,,i also suggest hittin the juice from the start,,,its easier to get the weight transfered and those big slicks planted from a dig rather then a roll,,,stiffen the rear shocks as much as possible and you might have to remove those front shocks altogether,,,trust me,,,those m&h's can handle the power you are making (as long as they are screwed) HIT THE NOS FROM THE DIG!!!!!!

As for other goodies....throttlebody + wires + plugs + belt tune up = 20 rwhp by themself....
No mention in other posts about what you did with the throttlebody...can you expand on what you did with it? Thanks,

This comment is way off the actual topic...but I thought it might be of interest...Years ago I was the Army project officer that controlled and coordinated the contract with Don Prudhome. His goals were different...to win at any cost (your tax dollars), his approach to the use of NOS was to add a huge shot in the last 100 yards or so if a race was close...his "bottle" was his fire extinguisher...and of course his entire funny car was built to handle almost any kind of horse power...but even with the huge slicks he had there was always an issue with breaking traction and as noted above tire shake.

This was totally illegal and just one of the ways these big dollar racers got an edge, and dusting an engine was not a big thing if the end result was a win. Not our world, but a little history lesson for perspective...the state of the art of spraying is well advanced since then...

Your experiement is exciting and will aid all of us greatly...

I cannot agree with removing the front shocks. This has been done in the past with a RC SRT10 and it makes the handling very dangerous.

definatly,,,thats why i said "might",,,,,the way im seeing it is,,when he puts the hose to her the front end wont being doing much handling,,,untill he lets off

removing the front shocks is not for the faint of heart,,thats for sure
