What's the Diff? Ford F-150 SVT Raptor vs. Dodge Ram Power Wagon

its like compairing apples to oranges, the raptor is factory pre-runner, the power wagon is a jeep with a bed.

That pretty much sums it up,compare the difference in wheel travel, that says alot too.

The power wagon is the one with 32+ wheel travel, thats a mean ass off road truck.   Thats probaly the best unbiased comparison write up I've seen in a long time. :congrats:

32+ inches of wheel travel is crazy
The Pro desert racers around here would scoff at that, they are running 4 + feet of travel, talk about a smooth ride:rock:

If you could pick one of those for a off-road truck which one would it be?

Id go with the power wagon, for a number of reasons. Its still a 2500 truck, so I can around 16k pounds, and I can put 1900 lbs of payload in the bed. There's no deserts around here so having a raptor wouldnt really suit my needs. I like the looks of the power wagon better, kinda looks like a freight train ;) It comes with a winch, which to me is the cats ass. And also the motor is far better than the old out dated 5.4L ford. But if I could pick any year power wagon to buy it'd be the 09. Because it came with the "new" hemi in the last body style. :)

Is there a link with all the specs on the Power Wagon? All I have found on the suspension is 9" of travel and an additional 9" when front sway bar disconnected?

"Then, because it has a straight front axle, Dodge was able to equip the Power Wagon with a trump card—a front sway bar disconnect. This allows for at least 32 inches of travel (and “sometimes greaterâ€￾ we’re told), allowing for a front wheel to extend downward almost the distance of an entire tire. On the opposite side, the tire stuffs up into the wheelwell until half has disappeared. It’s a traction enhancer that only works in the slowest, most difficult terrain, but makes a huge difference in those circumstances."

The first page right after the picture of the raptor suspension.

The 5.4L has 390TQ right now only 10 less than dodge. I think the new 6.2 is supposed to be around 400HP and 400TQ.
