Whats the trick?

Is there some special trick to making the CD players in our truck work? My radio works I can change stations and volume and yada yada but I can not, for the life of me, figure out how to load a CD into it. I've read the manual that comes with the truck and done everything that it said and I still cant figure it out. Whats the trick....

You might need a new headunit if it cant detect your trying to put a cd. They are all over ebay.

I actually found it out trying to put in Philip Sayce. If you haven't heard him go look him up.

my 2006 with nav make me punch in the number 1-6 to except a cd , not sure what radio u have ,
