It's for engine vacuum but if your engine is not boosted then you don't need to hook it up to anything. You just need the correct options selected in the VECII to use the PCM MAP signal. I don't have the software on this computer to explain the setup exactly.SRT10VENOMOUS said:
ok kool.. casue i was just going to modify my wiring harness and extend all the wires so i can mount the vec in the cab in an easy to use place.. and wasnt sure about that damm hose...

Just had Roe mount mine under the air conditioning controls...everything fell out of there everytime I goosed it anyway...Dave at Roe said it took 12 feet of cable.

I guess I am kind of at the point that the bling is really more important than access. I have never changed the program unless I was demonstrating the VECII to a neighbor...so even the glove box would work...but I just had to have it show...ego I guess.SRT10VENOMOUS said:
hmmmm i was just out looking at it and was trying to find a place whre i can put it behind plastic and make it have a semi factory look ... and ill be changing my program frequently cause i will be runnign a NOZ program when im out at night, maybe a 89 oct program and a 93 oct./ a meth program etc so i suspect ill be useing it quite abit
