Whats up for turkey day?

I got 4 days off. I should come up there and bug you :p
Probably gonna take the boat out, maybe go to daytona for turkey rod run or something.
 
Another Bull $hit day with the fam. Only thing to look foward to is Football game

Mom, Dad and baby sister are coming to our house for an old fashion turkey day dinner....my wife is preparing everything.....my mother's health is declining rapidly (82 yrs old).....I treat each holiday with my parents as maybe being the last.........little did we know last turkey day was the last one my mother in law would spend with us..

Yeah I learned a long time ago that enjoy your parents while they are still here.
some people take things for granted, even the simple things can hold strong memories in the mind.

Im taking the 10 down to Richmond, VA. Gonna introduce my girlfriend to my God-Son and his family. Beer/Turkey screaming kids....more beer!

I have tried many ways to cook a turkey....well my wife has..;) .....anyway last year she tried a "spatchcock" turkey......best turkey I ever ate...large turkey will cook in about 2 hrs which aids in keeping it moist....link to site on how to do.....my wife didnt use the seasoning suggested in the link so use what you like...

I'll be working again this year. But, its not that bad, last year the Rutgers Cheerleading/Dance team brought us T-day dinner....and they are coming back this year too. :p
