Guys please help me...After i take a ride on the rim on the inside there
is small black rubber/tar pcs on the rim.As soon as you wipe them they
smear/spread just like tar...Were the frikking is this coming from...Only
thing i could think of is brake pads, only got 10,000 km on the truck...
Has anybody else come across that...Cleaning wheels is a frikking job
and a half.Brake dust is another thing that nuts averyday you have to
clean.Someone let me now please...:dontknow:

Switch your pads out for another type...I put in EBC "Green" pads which almost eliminated the dust problem. Some other pads are out there too but i'm not sure of the names. Stopping power is very good and i have had no problems with them. As far as cleaning the inside of the rim, i use simple green. I spray the inside of the rims while cool and blast it off with a pressure washer. And everytime i rotate the tires i spend some time scrubbing them real good and putting on a coat of wax. I'm almost at 20k miles and my rims look as new as when i bought the truck:rock:

I want to switch to a chrome plated factory rim or replicas..I've been drooling ever since i saw Craig's wheels at Camelback.:D
