Wheel Question

Just got a used 05 RC (17K miles still under warranty). My truck has "Chrome Wheels" not polished. Was chrome wheels an option? The reason I am asking is that there is a lot of bubbling and peeling on the backside of the wheels (lip) . The face of the wheels is perfect. Has anyone seen this?:dontknow: Thanks for any info.

Chrome was not an option.I had mine done and have what you describe on the back.

I have seen two sets of OEM wheels that were sent out to be chromed,Both sets have rough backsides.
