Wheels and DRs

Well, street tires won't do me much good at the track with the new truck. For thoes of you running slicks or DRs, I want to get your opinions on your set ups. I hear M&H DRs are pretty good:dontknow: from reading other posts, so that's what I've been thinking. TheMoparConnection, you sell the 17" wheels right?
I'd like to get these hings ordered soon so they'll be here when th truck arrives.

I used MT Street DR last year and they worked awesome.Are the M&H's better?

I would get some slicks. I think the DR will break loose because of all the low end power. You are gonna need something stickier.

Ya, he's got some slicks with some shaved calipers. I just dont know if I want to mess witht the calipers

So does that mean he put the stock calipers back on? If so I would put the shaved calipers back on. I don't think there are any safety issues with having the shaved calipers on for everyday use. Plus I just think your not gonna hook with DR's.

Yeah but Justin can drive:rock: Not saying Lovethistruck can't drive. Plus I think his nitrous comes on at 3K rpms?:dontknow: As with the roe it comes on pretty quick. How does your truck do with DR. Granted you have a QC and the RC will be different.

I use the eagle alloy 058s and the M+H DR. I think they work really well. I put a lot of power thru them. In fact the tires ( when warmed up) want to push the truck thru the brakes when I power brake to start building boost at the line.:rock:

As Wyomramsrt-10 stated...
You will probably blow out of them... :burnout: I did with 18" Bogart's and Nitto 555 DR's).

That's when I got to grinding... 9 hour nightmare.

We talked about it yesterday...and we will leave it up to you if you want the set... no hard feeling's either way.
I still have the entire set up here... your buying the truck... they were built for the truck... they should go with the truck.
Hell, I even have enough 3 dot for you to swap it all back.
