When Does the Beer Have to Come Inside?

I have my reserve supply of Corona in the garage...the temperature hasn't been above Zero for a couple of days...at what temperature does my stash get endangered?

Maybe someone from Northern Wisconsin or Winnipeg can help me out on this technical issue...:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Are you saying the temperature in your garage is zero?:dontknow: If so I don't think that there is enough alcohol in beer to keep it from freezing at that temp.

Another thing to watch out for is the beer may not be frozen, but as soon you pop the top it will form ice and foam over. But the beer is still fine if it is frozen and let it thaw it is still good as long as it doesn't break the seal and go flat.

No not yet...it's been below zero for a couple of days, but the garage has stayed warmer...like 25...I do worry that too if the beer stays too cold for too long, it might degrade in quality...just checked and the garage temperature is 20 degrees...the beer tastes pretty good at that temperature!

Will fire up my "afterburner" if it goes much lower.

I have found that if I am concerned about the temp of the beer in the garage......it's either the beginning of a great party or I'm on my way out the door heading to church........A good rule of thumb, If the corona in the suit jacket pocket is to cold....it makes the nipples hard, and if kept in the pants pocket it causes shrinkage.....then for sure it's a tad bit to cold to take to that high school function.
