when I took off my slapper spring to install the caltracs , the bolt that goes all the way through the springs on the axle does not thread all the way up , so there will be a space there were the slapper spring was,,,,,,,so it looks like the other springs will fall all the way to the nut......Is that how it should be or should I put washers in there to make up for the space were the slapper bar was....

There should have been a new bolt supplied with the kit that is a little shorter. If you cant find it, you can always use some washers to take up the space I had to do that on one side as one of the new bolts with the kit came up missing.

id put a couple of washers if it was me or find a shorter bolt
