I was wondering that same thing about 3 months ago.

Ok, first, I have to apologize to everyone for disapearing for the last 10 or so months. There was a series of events that took my time and energy that seemed to keep going and going. Days turned to weeks and weeks to month before I knew it. Everything I was doing seemed to fall by the wayside while I was putting out fires elsewhere. And everytime I meant to log back in something else would happen and I never got back to it.

The main thing that happened was my step father passed on Thanksgiving and I was in MN visiting when it happened. Very hard time for my mom and brother. Then had some health issues with my father in law who lives with us and he was in and out of the VA hospital here a few times. Had him living downstairs in the TV room for about 3 weeks once with a bad leg infection.

Then the housing market crash and our son lost his business and house et al. We tried to help them out as much as we could but ended up dragging ourselves down as well. But, we are holding on ok and getting better all the time. They will be moving in with us at the end of the month for a while till things get better. It's the least we can do for our children, right?

But I was sitting here at work and thinking about the people I really missed here, Smoke, Silverback, the sickness, Bill, Django, jrgnd, Prof, Redsrt007, nowwhat, MauiSRT, and many others that escape my memory. Those that know me know that I am the WOSRT when it comes to names. I couldn't make the NATS this year and not sure how many will be there. Last year was off the hook!

I promise to be on line more often. I miss you all greatly. Thanks for thinking of me Scott. And the rest of you... and you can always call me... 757-869-5714.

And I'm also sorry for run of bad luck in your family. Hope things turn around for you soon.

Glad you checked in - hard times are all around, I hope you find light at the end of the tunnel soon....... Our son and his wife are also living with us due to the economy and our job(less) situation.

It is the least we can do for our children, I just hope they will remember to pay us back that favor when we need it :rock:

Thank God you didnt tell us you sold your truck Stretch! That would have been too much. LOL

Hope things pick up for you and your family. And for everybody else, if your not challanged/effected by the economy this year.............well then you need to let us in on your secret!!! We are down more than 25% on Maui! Its the worst business I have witnessed in 20 years of living here.
