My dad just bought a jacked up 04 QC diesel and loves my hood and wants his own. I'll be guarding mine until he finds his own!

Check your dealer, it will be pricy but nothing is worse than ill fitting body panels which is prolly what you will get from the aftermarket.

For under $600 he can get a Fiberglass one from AAR !!! That's where I bought mine for my new mod !!! I've had two other hoods of theirs, and was very happy with the fit of them !!

Hey now! What is the weight loss difference between stocker and the glass hood? How is the fit- is there a larger gap at the hood to fenderline?:D

there has been a carbon fiber hood for sale on ebay for our trucks. about $1400.

Can't answer these questions yet as it's still being modified to my specifications !!:dontknow: Will probably be heading there tomorrow to check on it though !! I'll see if I can't find out some numbers for you !!

We ordered a SRT-10 hood (primered), the grille shell(black) and the honeycomb inserts already installed in the shell, for a little more than $500. I thought that was a pretty good deal. It's going on my dads 04 3500 Cummins.

Got an answer to your question today !!!! There's about a 30 - 40lb savings with the AAR Hood !!! Still can't tell you about the fit on my truck, but I did see one of the hoods installed on another Ram,and I've got to say it was great !!! The guy making this hood knows what he's doing, and makes adjustments as necessary !!!I would be surprised if there were any fitment problems with one of these !!! A possibility I might get my hood this Sat at our MOB (Mopars of Brevard) Carshow !!!! Then will come the artwork time,as well as another possible Mod to the new Mod (hood) !!!Damn, this almost better than sex !!!!!:elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant:

Close hell, I also stopped and talked with the guy that did the AirBrushing on my mirrors, and he thinks an awful lot like I do (OUTSIDE THE BOX) !! After explaining what I wanted to do paint wise,we got off on another really kool idea for fresh air intake !!! So for something I was hoping to have ready for its debut at Mickeys Dyno Day,I'm going to have to step back and let the idea come to life !!!
