what is this and it's purpose----crank case ventilation---is there a problem with the regular pcv system----does it come with a fang filter cap---is it nescessary on a stock engine

The stock PCV system recycles a great deal of moisture back into the crankcase.
It also puts oil into the intake causing detonation and other undesirable conditions.

An aftermarker Catch can / breather system is a good idea on every stock truck.

Didnt someone say a while back that these would cause oil to leak out and cause low psi inside the engine?

I cant remember who it was but they had been driving on the highway when their motor blew and someone had brought this particular item up....???....:dontknow:

That was a very isolated incidence, an Accusump is a very good thing to have on a hotrod.
