I just bought a Snows Stage 2 kit new for a very good price. I have the same kit on the other truck except this one has the new 220psi pump which is huge compared to the old 150psi. I was gonna go stage 3 till I looked at all the programming.

Where did you mount the pump? I was thinking of mounting it under the JMB heat shield.

Where's the best spot for the controller on a 06.

Should I just tap into the washer jug and use washer fluid or just mount there little bottle. I have lots of the Snows boost juice.

Just want a few ideas before I start. I don't like drilling holes into the truck that's why I still have the nitrous kit I bought three years ago still in the box

My pump is mounted under the washer fluid jug.....dont use washer fluid as it will leave residue in the intake and ports...the Boost juice works fine..

Hey Jeff I mounted mine on the drivers side beside washer bottle usung a "L" bracket on pump, there's a hole beside the cab mount(no drilling) bracket.

I should really consider the stage 3 controller very user friendly. If you're scared about that don't be it A LOT easier to set up than you think.

That's a nice setup, did you ever move a nozzle infront of the blower or throttlebody? Do you use the snow boostjuice in your washer jug or just w/w fluid? I still want to keep my wipers/washer usable.

Joe I will take a look see if I have those holes, I probably won't start the install till later this week I am re-doing the catch can lines with AN fitting that are black instead of the brass mess that's there. Plus I have to install another fitting into the jmb intake tube since the catch can line is in the w/m fitting that's welded into it.

Q: did you ever move a nozzle infront of the blower or throttlebody?
A: The nozzles are still in the same place, right behind the TB in the under side of the Intake Manifold.

Q: Do you use the snow boostjuice in your washer jug or just w/w fluid? I still want to keep my wipers/washer usable.
A: I'm using 50/50 VP M-1 Racing Methanol and distilled water. I still have full function of wipers/washer.

We drilled the holes in the intake and threaded them so the nozzle screw right in. I too will be getting the bigger 220 psi pump this week as well as some bigger nozzles, and will be installing in the same location and bracket. Once I do the switch I will be heading to the dyno for tuning. I figure I should be right around 680 rwhp.

Well the whole install comes to a quick stop the nozzles that are suppose to be 1/8 npt on bothe sides are not so the bulk head connector I have won't work and I can't find the other one from the ramcharger

When your spraying with water/meth do you run super fat on A/F ratio? When I spray mine it says 10.0 on both gauges:dontknow: ,is this proper:dontknow:

What about getting JMB's washer fluid reservoir and have a 2nd one similar to it built for the meth? Once the big factory plastic bottles are gone it really opens up that front LH corner.

Also I have a machinist that can machine the valve covers so you can run a true steel braid line from the valve covers to the catch can like mine if you want. He built a tool to be able to have a -6 ORB thread in the valve covers for me.

I was originally only going to use one catch can, but it didnt work as nice as I wanted so I ended up using two.

You need to tune for it. You're quenching the engine. You should be running where the engine max's out on power then bring back the timing 2* to be safe. A/F should be around 12-12.5 +/- .2 depending on the motor.

You still have a lot power left in the motor running 10 a/f.

Excellent info,Thanks:rock:

I'm going to finish the install this weekend now that I have the right nozzle mount. Where is the best place to mount the nozzle I have the jmb intake should I mount it in the tube about 10" away from the tb to cool the tube down a little or should I mount it in the silicone elbow right before it bends at the 90 infront of the IAT sensor. Or finally should I mount it where the IAT is ( 2" away from the tb) and move the sensor back in the elbow on the other side.

Thanks

How funny... I just finished the install of my new pump and nozzles today. All depends. Here is a page that will help you decide. How many nozzles and what size are they?

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/articles/where-to-locate-your-alcohol-water-injection-nozzle-2/

Took mine out for a little spin and did a couple of WOT pulls in 4th on the express way and A/F at 11.7. I figure I got a couple degrees I can add for a little more hp, but won't do anything until I hit the dyno.
