I bought the wheels from Wifey (In S. Calif.) she got them to Goodrich and good rich charged me for the shipping from there to here...but now that you mention it, it was about $40 a wheel. I also sent my old wheels from here in Illinois to a buyer in central Texas and those charges were about $40 per wheel too.

I went to a place that puts on lots of aftermarket wheels, they had lots of boxes...gave them to me with all the packing materials.

I somehow knew you guys would have the hook-ups!!

What is the difference in color/finish between the permastar and actual 'black chrome' or is it the same process. It looks like the black chrome might be a shade lighter in color.

I was thinking the lighter color would be really badass on a silver truck.

The PermaStar process differs from regular chrome - here's what they say about their application

http://www.permastar.com/psinfo.html

I read up on chroming from a different vendor and the processes were diffeent.
.
Good Luck

The application is done at Pacific Rims (owned by the same guy that owns Goodrich Technology) - they repair the rims if needed before doing the process. Try calling them, they are really nice!
