which calipers to get for slicks

so i went to the track saturday night. had a lot of fun in the truck but never could launch hard due to i had the bfg g-force tires and was always spinning at the top of 1st and 2nd. so if i wanted to get slicks what calipers would be a direct bolt on and waht size rim and tire would be best? I dont want to shave my calipers down.

Yup! Just shave the stocks.

17s without shaving.

Mine are 16 X 10 AE Rims with M and H slciks:dontknow: but I guess it's whatever 16in rims you want.

without , is a 17 inch rim, and if not mistaken there is a set out there with new tires , rims, lugs, caps for a killer price, I may have to get in touch with him and see if they are still available

17" without & that's a drag radial, 16" shaved with a drag slick...... there is a big difference.

shaving off ~ 1/2" of material with a hand grinder will take hours...... myself, i have a machinist friend who'll do my calipers for free. :rock:

This is when the slick's and Bogart's were on 505's FastestViper, they be on mine now.
