So I am installing my new Zex kit this weekend. Planning on running between a 55-125 shot. Can anyone recommend what brand/type/gap of spark plugs I should replace the stockers with to be safe? I hear I need to go to a cooler plug but thats about all I know. Thanks for the info! :burnout:

also on that ive got a stage 2 flash would i need to get it re done before trying the gas

YUP! definately unless you are stayin at like a 50 shot... 2 deg timing per 50 shot.....You can have Boomer make u a NOS flash and just swap PCM's if u want....or get a vec or split second

Thanks Boom!

I agreee w/ Blake....on a stage II flash anything more than a 50-75 shot is flirting w/ danger. I put a lot of thought into this when planning for the nitrous. Main thing is timing....stock timing is less than stage II so from what I've learned a 150 shot is do-able on stock timing but that is about the max.

I would run about 30-35 (around 32) on the Gap...1 or 2 steps cooler, and drop the timing to stock

thanks guys....yeah my timing is still stock....stocker ECU....i figure its enough for the street and will be good to go at the track w/ the NOS. I can't wait to install and plumb the lines!! I'll post pics.

I would drill the piss out of the jets, make it a 400hp shot and blow it up ! but what do I know!LOLOLOL

Silly hillbilly, Jets are for sissies...................

Just take out the jets and let-er rip.:D :D :D

Thanks Bone.....I just ordered ten of these babies up!

Where did you mount your bottle? Is a safety blow down valve required to get through tech at the track...what about if its mounted in bed?

They don't even ask about the NOS (at least at two different tracks).
In the bed on a board that I can removed easily. Didn't want to drill holes in the truck, plus I wanted to keep the bottle out of the cab or my kids with sniff the stuff.

the plugs you are going to run, the 7's are ok, but really cold for street use. as long as you dont go over a 200 shot, i wouldnt go that cold. it wont hurt anything, but it will loose power on the street with that cold of a plug
