Whiner!!

Pulled my pump and replaced pulley, now I got insane whine. Anybody had this before?

sounds more like a belt "chirp"

might try spray some water, belt dressin, WD40, etc. on the belt & see if that changes it any

Bearing may be going out in the idler also. One of the trucks I had sounded similar to that and it was the idler pulley.

Noise got worse after removing pump and replacing pump pulley. That's why I'm thinking it's the pump itself.
