Who are the artists here?

I'm looking for someone in graphic design to help out with some t-shirt and merchandise designs for some stuff I want to sell on cafe press. I will pay for the service of course, and it will be relatively simple. Just PM me if you are interested.

I use AutoCAD daily. Thats what I used for my submissions for the logo contest. I can use photoshop, but am by no means a pro at it. I draw fairly well free-handed.

I have solid builder at home, never learned how to use it, never had to.

Can SolidWorks do a complete materials take-off? That would come in handy!

I'm not sure what you mean by "a complete materials take-off".
SW does everything but 'finish me off'.

Complete materials take-off = A complete list of materials in a job. I design log homes. It would be cool if it could tell me how many linear feet of logs are in a home, how many studs, rafters, floor joists etc.

Yep. It'll do that. It's called Bill Of Materials (or BOM).
It's pretty amazing stuff.
