Who got the best deal on their SRT-10??

Yup, it made it possible...but the cost was big too.

I really think you guys today have it a lot tougher than we did...I went because I wanted to...and I know you are itching...but the concept today is rotation of units, rather than individuals...

That makes it really tough on some, and very frustrating to others.

Hang on to a couple of re-up bonuses and then you too will be able to start the "no finance charge" vehicle voyage.

I don't know if we have it "tougher" now... in some ways, maybe. In many ways, no.

The rotational thing does suck. I know guys with families that have gone 4-5 times. I'm single and begging to go back:dontknow: here I sit. If I make SF this next try, I have a feeling that problem will be resolved for me:D and I'll be able to try your no finance deal.

Paid too much. Paid cash. But if your going to buy something like this, if you can't pay it off, then you don't need it

Stay injury free this time! Critical to not be lame!

If you qualify, you will have changed your life...and indeed, you will have plenty of opportunity to have the "sound of guns" in your 201 file!!!

Absolutely Right!

I didn't pay cash and I didn't need it, and it is gone

VJ:D

No, but I hope you didn't plan it being your daily driver when you purchased it.
I'm single, no bills and kids grown. 10 years ago, no way would have made this purchase.
How many here had to be sold at A loss here because the of the payment or needed something more practical

cash is king. I never had a credit card, and taught if you need it, you save your pennies til you can afford it. Not rich, just smarter then most. (not saying buying the SRT was of my smarter. purchases)

Buying an SRT 10 is definitely not a smart buy...but we all need a little fun in our lives!

:burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

we starting paying cash for our vehicles 5 years ago. makes it easier once you can afford it. only payment i have now is the house and stinkers parts bill.

2005 Black RC: Stock 3800 Miles got it for 25k in late 2009.

Got mine in March of 2004 with 7 miles on it. $$$$$$$$$$$:D  :aetsch:

I'm on Prof's plan. I paid cash, and it does take discipline. Got my 2006 QC Night Runner #305/400 with 18,000 miles for $28k.

I took advantage of a phenominal deal, but I'm not spillin' the beans! LOL If my fellow Ram SRT-10 owners with great deals go to sell their truck and the buyer finds this thread it's only going to complicate your sale as well as provide them with comps. Post wisely... it's the internet.

I was thinking same thing..lol. I got a phenominal deal on mine through carmax. I could basically make money off money if I sold it today....that's as far as I'm going!
