Just thought this might brighten yout day...nice to see people come together and make a life changing event happen to a great kid.:rock:
Eric Sims is physically challenged, who has served as the waterboy for the Jackson Christian School football team for the last several years. Last Friday night was 'Senior Night" for the team and the coach let him dress out with the football team. With the game nearing an end, and JCS far ahead on the scoreboard, the two opposing coaches met in the middle of the field and planned a memorable event!
This past Friday night our football coaches and their counterparts from
Harding Academy made it possible for one of our Harmony students, Aric
Sims, to fulfill a long-time dream of becoming a JCS football player.

It was a very special night for Aric and his family, and it was all
made possible by the dedication of our coaching staff and the gracious
cooperation from the folks at Harding Academy. There was no media there
to cover it. It was purely and simply a moment where are players and
coaches and those from Harding Academy came together "for the least of
these."
