Who is the real winner Ford or Dodge

I can tell you this. They put the weight of the SRT at 5100 lbs. That in itself is incorrect. that leads me to believe the entire comparo was slanted. Also, who cares if the lightening if close in pure performce numbers!!! those trucks are straight ugly. Also, the platform is from a 97 slate released in march 2006. They have a standard ho-hum powertrain same as a harley edition. You see about twenty L's for every one 10. They are fairly common. Your not gonna get many compliments at the gas station. The trucks are crap to begin with. examples, crap fit & finish, cheap materials, rattletrap body, stinky interior odor, heavy bulky doors that rattle, weak transmissions, old design slate with mid 90s technology & design. Oh and did I mention they look like crap.

No, I dont respect the L

Yes, Viper trucks are "THE" Alpha truck.

Bring it on ford boys!!!

LOL so true, your probably gonna get grilled for that comment;)

If the magazine driver could only get a 13.6 qtr he couldnt drive....we have many here that have ran low 13s with a stock truck....someone even hit high 12s..

To bad the specs are off it shows a 04 srt running 13.6 in the 1/4 to a 13.8... My first run at a drag track in my life and first run in my bone stock truck i ran a 13.3 at 108 .... And we have guys here running 12.9 or lower bone stock no mods... ummmmm if they are gonna compare trucks they should best compare it with someone who knows how to drive one

BRAKING SVT - 185-ft; 70-0 mph (C&D) SRT RAM - 184-ft; 70-0 mph (C&D)

I know for a fact these 2 trucks don't stop only 1 foot difference. The SRT RAM brakes better then ANY vehicle Ive EVER owned...

That only tells me that if you're on a budget and looking for something easier and cheaper to deal with then go for the Ford. And there's LOT's of them out there. I, on the other hand, don't care a heck of a lot about "go fast" and I like stuff that are harder to find. That's what convinced me.

SHEW!, I was worried until I saw the L was compared to an RC. We all know they're snails. :D
