I just bought (well,traded a few things for) a 74 Ford Bronco
It has a 3" body lift,3" suspension lift
302 Ford w/two-barrel carb
Four speed trans
Twin stick differential shifters
1 hard and 1 bikini soft top
a little rust and will need tires by summer (has 37" Super Swamper TSLs)

What should I spend money on first ?
It will NOT be used for a show truck
just a weekend toy,but not abused

I need lower seats that sit farther back and maybe a tilt steering column
maybe SRT-10 or C5 vette seats ,or some aftermarket made just for it ?

ANY ideas ?

make sure the brakes are in good shape #1

replace oil in both axles...chances are since it has 37's its been in mud and water..

then first things first, 4bl holley 67O avenger, 4bbl alum intake, a nice cam, headers and free flow exhaust.!

summit racing is your friend

If you are going to be doing ANY wheeling..... Check all the body mount locations for rust. Replace if rust is found. A "stilt block" (from the body lift) coming up through the floor always makes for a bad day. ;) Fix the lower rocker panels behind the doors too.... I know they are rusted out, they ALL rust out. :)

As for seats, my buddy got two buckets from Summit and just fabbed up some brackets for them to fit how you'd like..

Nice Ride Bro!! My daily driver is a Willys Overland M38A-1 that I completely rebuilt from the frame up! Just to make your package more user friendly I would start with the creature comforts! You can usually get great deals on seats from the local 4 wheel drive outfits with leftovers and then JC Whitney catalog has some good stuff too! If your going to go postal on the wheeling I would invest in lockers on all 4's. I have them on mine and it's a great investment. I have spent over $30,000 on my willys so If I can help just PM me and I will be happy too! :D
