Why 2006's hold more engine oil?

While having my power steering pump replaced today, I asked the Viper tech (who seemed to be pretty sharp) why the 2006 SRT-10's called for more engine oil than the 04&05's.
He said the 2006's had longer lines and a much larger engine oil cooler.:dontknow:
