Why debadge?

Why do you folks debadge? Is it pre 06 that say RAm that your trying to eliminate..?

I was going to put Viper Badges on the sides, in place of the 1.5 mile long "RAM SRT-10" billboards.... But, decided against it. I just think it looks good with nothing there.

I do, however, like the "06 emblems.

^^^^Exactly. The "RAM SRT-10" is just too much. I opted for just the SRT-10 badges on the doors. And on the 04s they have HUGE "DODGE" lettering across the tailgate. Those definitely had to go.

The only 06 badging that looks bad is the cheesy "Night Runner" decals on the fenders. Those look like 1970s cheap paper stick ons from a cereal box IMHO. If I had a nightrunner those would be off within 10 minutes of getting the truck home.

Yea really dont like those either. But not sure I want to alter the originality of the truck just yet (yeah right.. see me next year and Ill have the top chopped and yellow flames painted..) LOL :stupid:

Really, if the '04-'05 would have just had "SRT-10" on the sides, mine would still be on there. :dontknow: (I'm just too lazy to take all those individual letters off the side, RE-TAPE them, and put them back on in the right place. ) But, I still like nothing there better than anything.

I just took mine off. Viper on the hood and all badges on the gate had to go as I am striping the truck and will be re-clearing. I went ahead and did the doors as well.

Pete or Fangs will go on the gate in the middle, maybe 06 SRT-10 on the gate and maybe Viper back on the hood, but nothing is going on the doors.

LOL, I just rev the engine and ask, does that sound like a Hemi? Which for most still does not answer the question.

I was going to get a plate that said NO HEM1 (NO HEMI was not available) but decided to hold off until next year when I will be getting BLWN V10
