Seems kind of stupid.....probably cost twice as much as just swapping trans in a QC...and the truck's value is hurt IMO...:dontknow:

Might be the only one that someone was dumb enough to stretch a RC but I bet there are more than several QCs with sticks out there....

I find it interesting what is accepted and what is not now that I've been around for a few days

You look at the level of frame modifications in Dom's and Tinygiants, FSTJack Silver one, some have completely gutted the interior for the sake of race seats, one guy turned is truck into the largest rolling boombox.

So really, where does, over the line start and OK end...

Oh well, I'm interested in them all, even the ones that are painted something other that dodge oem colors

I was only joking, but you bring up a good point.
Seems like alot think that anything other than stock is unacceptable.
Then there are the gearheads where anything goes, and who care what anyone else thinks.
In my build, I didn't care, but wanted it to be able to go back to 100% stock if someone else wanted.

Jeffery I dont think anyone looks at this mod as "over the line".....just think it was an expensive way to get a QC with a stick...seems it would cost less $$$$ to just switch trans.....really surprised no one here has done that....but I bet they are out there...

These are nothing but a pickup truck... do what you want with them.... especially if they are "hurt" to begin with.

I think it's a interesting idea. And if the owner that modified the truck was, say, a limousine builder.... it probably was a fairly easy process. :dontknow:

The RC and QC engine blocks are different.... you just can't swap transmissions. Plus, there are more advantages to a reg cab than just the stick..... like the rear sway bar, for instance.
