I have been noticing it once in a while. When running it hard from stop
( Yes I mean street drag racing!) I noticed a high pitched whining sound something like the belt slipping but it appears ok. Also some engine stumbling
somewhere around 2-3 shift. Engine just feels like it stops momentarily. The two problems seem isolated

Have you called Sean?

Sounds strange...have not heard of this before.

Did you get Seans new tune? Mine would stumble occasionally before he updated my tune, now she runs smooth as silk!!

No whinning here other than the normal SC whine!!:D

As said above the new updated cards make a BIG difference.....as far as the noise I would call Sean ASAP as Prof advised........you might also check the supercharger's oil level.

I get a scream from mine when I get out of it real fast. I had my transmission checked, but it was not the culprit. I thought it was belt slipage. So I tried belt conditioner. No help. I tried a new belt. No help. I tried a new tensioner. No help. Maybe it is not the belt, but it is not like I can see under the hood when it does it either. And it will not do it while ideling no matter the RPM range.

What RPM are you at when it does that?

You might be hitting the rev limiter.

Yes as Dale mentioned its more like a scream. And yes it is revving very high.
So how does the rev limiter work?

It keeps the engine from Red lining.
If your don't shift it before it get to that point, the engine will shut down until the RPM's lower, or you shift it to a higher gear.

So its a momentary shut down say 1/4 of second? That could be the stumbling? the noise might be unrelated It has only happened a few times. And yes I have the new tune from SEan

If you're getting a scratchy whine noise, I would check the vacuum line that goes into the firewall. I believe it comes off the t-fitting at the brake booster and goes behind or if left unsecured over the thin part of the plenum. This happened on mine and it carries and amplifies the rotational noise(scratchy whine or gear type whine) into the cab probably thru the A/C. I secured it away from the plenum and problem fixed.
