Hey kids,

I know there are a lot of gun nuts on this forum.

Can anyone give me the goods on this new autoloader from Winchester.

The video of the guy dumping 12 shots in 1.44 seconds in quite impressive. But I don't wanna just go on hype.... or what some expert shooter with Parkinson's of the trigger finger can accomplish....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCB7uEQ9W9A

I wanna know if (real world) this autoloader is truly superior to my Benelli Super 90 with ghost rings..... I don't wanna just spend $800 bucks for nothing....

Then again, if it is simply the finest autoloading shotgun on the face of planet effing earth, I may just have to get one.....

Whadd'ya think..............?

D

I dunno Boss....I have the Benelli 90 as well....

as I see it the whole point of a 12 guage is that you don't need to pump that many rounds out...If 3 rounds of 00Buck within the confines of your home doesn't get the job done....you are screwed anyway....:D

Thanks Mike,

I guess it's more an issue of whether this SX3 is a "must have" piece.....

Has anyone shot one.............?

Last time I checked, the "bump fire" method used a piece of string and a key ring.......

WTF are u talking about.......?

Cuz I aint all that good with werds, I just cut n pasted this from Wikipedia :D

Bump fire ............

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bump firing is the simulated automatic firing of a semi-automatic firearm or a revolving firearm (like a revolver), usually a rifle due to their larger size. It works by using the recoil to cause the shooter's finger to pull the trigger repeatedly more rapidly than is usually attainable by simply moving your finger.

The easiest way to bump fire is from the hip, although this results in bad accuracy. Experienced practitioners are often able to produce reasonably accurate results bump firing from the shoulder. Bump fire tends to be much less accurate and controllable than mechanical fully automatic fire.

One method of "bump firing" is to hold the rifle with the off-hand (non trigger hand) and instead of gripping it with the trigger hand, only inserting the forefinger in front of the trigger. In order to achieve the rapid fire succession, the shooter continuously pulls the rifle forward with the off-hand while holding the trigger finger stationary such that the trigger is pulled into the forefinger. The recoil will pull the rifle backwards as the off-hand pulls it forwards. A new round will be chambered before the weapon is pulled back into the stationary trigger finger.

Note: I think the ring and string method is an illegal modificatoin causing it to be a machine gun and you could be prosecuted for using that technique. This method of bumpfire is legal and device free and can be used with any semi auto weapon

Alright, now I wanna go bump fire - NOT FAIR :D :D :D :dancing:

if it's not faster than the HK MP5 I don't want it-----

Then get an Ingram .... 1300 rds per min

I learned it all from him. He gave up kibitzing about 5 years ago :p

already had one ---to snappy and accuracy stinks---especially with a can installed

Tim, let's go shooting. You can toss the golf balls and I will shoot them - we will call it skeet golf  Sounds fun to me ..........

we can make pvc golf ball cannons and both of us can shoot them ---that would be a challenge----hahaha

Excuse the pun, but, we could use Gallery size shotguns  :dancing: :D
