Anyone near the Las Vegas area know a good solid place to get windows tinted? My old, John02SS's, and now my (again) truck needs to get the windows retinted. I tried one place downtown here and was extreamly dissappointed in the workmanship and the way they left the Silverado dirty afterwards.

tia guys,
Jim

My wife has a cousin in Vegas who used to do tinting. she's calling him to see where he recommends.

Too dark? They don't pick on us too much here in Pensacola for illegal tint. John had my whole front windshield tinted and it makes my driving experience sooooo much better. But the cops here don't pick on us too much for that.

yeah, well.....I was pulled over a total of 3 times when I had the Z06 that was fully tinted and limo'd out. Tired of it. LOL Just going to get it tinted legal in front, one shade darker on the rear, then have them take the windshield tint off leaving a stripe of it across the top (down to the A2 line). Who knows what the hillbilly rednecks in NM are going to say when I head there in a month.

Did you already get it shipped back to you? That was quick. How does it feel with the different things he did to it?

It's getting delivered tomorrow. John and I agreed on a deal almost two weeks ago. Just trying like hell to find a return truck to bring the silverado to John. Never thought vehicle transport would be so difficult to find without getting raped. Truck shouldn't feel much different. Most of the changes were cosmetic, except for the LT's instead of the basani's and the tune. Unfortunately, I'll have to run a detuned program since the best gas out here is 91 octane, then only 90 in NM.

The lower octane won't hurt you if you are running at a high elevation
