I do want/need (valuables safety) a tonneau cover. Considering that the wing was designed properly for the application can I use the non-cover wing with an add-on cover and get the same results? I found the one listed below and am wondering if I need to get the original OEM wing for this cover or can I use the one on my truck designed for the non-cover application? I know it will fit and look good but is one specifically designed for the cover bed and the non-cover bed? :dontknow: Thanks guys for all your great help.

i would say you'd be fine, the truck in the pic doesn't have a center post. i'm sure someone on here will chime in for you that has that cover/wing combo

thats a sweet cover.

if memory serves, someone was tryin to get a group buy on them a while back

I am sure you know this,But that is two different covers. The first one you showed was originally made by Pace Edwards i believe.I looked on there site but did not see the one with the cut out for the wing,But you could contact them to see if they still make it.They did advertise it a few years ago.

Pace-Edwards, maker of hard, retractable truck bed covers and tonneau covers

go with the retrax slides right under the stock wing and location, works great thats what ive been running
