i normally let the guys line courts but with these people wanted to make sure they were perfect,.

No comment...and it was very hard to take that position.

Well at least you have the salute down in that first pic.

And I always thought the lines were painted on!!

When I was on a tennis court crew, we always painted them on.... Must be a new and less expensive method....

Tennis court building is very hard work.....Trust me.... Just digging the holes for the fences (if you have fences) and the lights (again, if you have them) is enough grunt work to send most white boys running for their lives....

It's very tough work, especially if you work in the Rocky Mountains like we did....

Nice boots...... How are your feet doing....?

i'm gonna get new inserts, the one foot feels abit better ,but still hasnt made any vast inprovement,
Thanks

Lines are painted on hard courts,we mostly do clay court work, lines are the worst ,around 1800 nails per court.

I don't know if you've seen them yet, but they have these new things that shoot nails like a gun, I can't remember what they call them though LOL. You don't really drive all those nails with a hammer do you??

nails guns dont work, the line jerks,we use a chalk line(neon orange),we have absolutely no variance allowed, they have to be straight, and the total court can only be off by no more than a 1/4 of an inch per the usta,i myself will pullup the line if its off at all.

So yes we do hammer the entire court,it sucks but we get paid very well todo it and can usually finish one court in around 2 hrs
