Since I am one of those who parks his 10 for winter here is the start to some of my winter projects.
Started refinishing my valve covers at my families body shop. got the drivers side stripped, epoxy primed, painted and clear coated.

Picking up cut out masking from my decal guy so I can paint the letters bright silver.

Make sure you keep the overspray & sanding dust out of the engine while the valve covers are off.

No worries there, my 10 is in my garage at home. Have old bath towels covering the exposed heads. I just took the valve covers to the shop.

Picked up the letter masks from my decal guy, UPS dropped off a special part today as well.

That is cool, how much for a set of those? Are they durable enough to be re-used? Or is it a one time use deal.

I will let you know once I use mine how it goes and how well they work. I will have to check with my decal guy on price for them. (I got mine in a trade deal.)

its been awhile but have gotten a few things done. drivers side valve cover is bolted back on.

temporarily mounted the MP scoop to the hood to see what type of fasteners I need.

started refinishing the passenger side valve cover last weekend.

got the valve cover primed the base color on and clear coated.
