Winter here in northern Illinois means time to modify, clean and polish...no driving the truck...

What are you planning on doing during the winter?

I have a list, and I hope that it will be complete by late April, so when May arrives I will be ready to roll again (Stingray...you ready to work?):

Install Chrome Molly Lower Control Arms (FstJack to provide)

Braided Brake Lines and Oil Lines (Ordered from Stinker)

Locate and Install New Gauges:

Air/Fuel
Boost
Oil Temp

Line Lock Install

JMB Power Coat Front Brake Calipers and Valve Covers

Replace Pumpkin bolts with stainless steel bolts

Roy,

What are you driving this winter if you are taking the Volvo apart? No, new fuel pump for the truck?

What am I doing? Nothing to do with any vehicle... :(

But, I have an outside door to install in the kitchen in the coming weeks of the upstairs apartment of the duplex so I can start renovating the kitchen this winter.

I will be installing infloor heat (electric) with tile flooring, drywall and new kitchen cabinets.

Wil most of the tasks on the Volvo are day jobs...if they are more than that we have the Prius and I sometimes have a rental around during the winter so that the Volvo doesn't have to act as a snow plow.

Line Lock from JMB
Braided Oil Lines (at post office - thanks Stinker)
Nitrous
Lowered (Springs are in garage - thanks Stinker)

If you keep the roof over your head Jerry you will be doing better than a lot...but with Denise back working, the chances are better than last week that you will be successful.

By the way is there a light weight welding unit that I can use for sculpture that will do light/thin iron and aluminum? Or do I have to have two different pieces of equipment?

November-December
ACR paint scheme, complete audio upgrade, new tires nitto's
We are also building a shop in the backyard 20x40 during this time frame.
February-March
Motor will go under the knife and get forged along with powdercoating the valve covers and intake.

you need a tig to weld aluminum or you can learn to braze alot cheaper too most migs have an attachment for tig welding not sure about the cheaper ones.

No winter here in south FL :D
Looks like I will be getting a new hood painted and installed, new rims and tires, and lowering.
Oh yea, still need to get an exhaust to replace the magnablow that has a hole in it.
