Well my wife has finally had enough of the bullshit here in Western PA, and we're now planning on moving! Her current job is hell, but she gets a bonus at the end of March so she's gonna stick it out until then. In the meantime, she's getting her resume ready and she's gonna start applying for positions after the new year.
The goal is for her to get hired by the end of April. She's a cost accountant, and she's gonna be applying in the Charlotte area. To those of you who are familiar with that area, how are her chances? I'm doing the leg-work on all the relocation research right now, because my business is shut down for the winter (something that will change once we've moved)
I'm really interested in the Rock Hill, SC area. Seems promising. But any first-hand knowledge of that town, or another town in that general area would be very appreciated!
I think we're gonna keep the house here in PA for a couple of reasons. The first reason...it's not gonna sell, lol! The second reason, is that I'm gonna still run my business up here in the summer, so I'll need a place to stay and run the business from. The mortgage is small and so is the house, so I think that'll be manageable.
Wish us luck, and feel free to give me any advice or criticism. This is gonna be a very well-planned move when it finally happens, and that includes as much research and knowledge as I can collect! But regardless, I'm still very exited! I wanted to do this 10 years ago (before I met my wife), but what the hell..better late than never!
