Here are some pictures of the brakes from a guys truck who works for me. He started to become concerned about them when his girlfriend was following him home one night and told him he had a spark show under his truck. You think he would have noticed something felt different, but he didnt. I couldnt believe it and laughed my ass off when I saw this.

HTF did he not notice that. thats just as bad as beer cans for brake pads.:marchmellow:

I've seen shoes and pads wore down to nothing but the whole disk???

Not only the whole disc, but the whole pad as well. The first picture of the caliper was how it was removed. The piston was pressing against the disc. When he brought it into the shop to fix it the piston was so far out of its bore that it started puking brake fluid onto the floor.

make sure you tell them to buckle up, cuz they are prolly gonna fly thru the windshield when they step on the brakes now!!!!!!!
