Working on Sunday

I received a call from my boss at 5:00 am this morning to come in to work due to a very important project that must be completed by Monday morning. I am still very much asleep and do not feel like being here, good thing or bad (depends how you look at it) that I didn't have anything to drink last night.:sleep: :sleep: :sleep:

I am a Production Supervisor @ the 3rd largest machine shop in the world. We have a HOT project for Exxon Mobil that must be completed by tomorrow morning, seems like Exxon has not been able to make any profits in the last couple of quarters so they really need this project. :hmmmm2:

man i know how you feel the other night their baytown plant sent in 3 valves they needed back asap. said to work around the clock til it was done money was no object i put in 14 hours that day til 1st sshift came in

That's one thing I don't miss about the chemical plant or control valve business...at least now when I work long hours here at my shop, I can eat at my desk or take a two hour nap and no one can say a thing.
