World Cup 2014 Brazil!!!

SO...i know we are still 3 years away from the world cup...but im already starting to plan our adventure...we will be leaving from Austin, TX and driving to RIO De Jenearo, Brazil. Cant drive thru the Darien Gap in Columbia..so we will have to get our vehicles freighted around to to either the coast of columbia or into peru. anyways...trying to get lodging situated down there...already had several offers form many families in RIO...does anyone on this forum have family or friends in RIO? it would be nice to get a place that we can rely and trust on ahead of time....any help would be awesome...also...if anyone is intersted in taking the trip with us...your more than welcome...the more people that go...the safer it is...
