You got a ticket for Magnaflow installed w/o cat deletes? Damn.. that's what I am running and it's not really loud at all unless you stomp on it.
I added resonators in front of my Magnaflow to lower the incab resonation...
thats why i went to a set of flowmater mufflers ,,,no drone in cab ,,everyone claims you lose a couple hp with them but i figure if i had to add extra mini,
it would not be any diff ,,but the in cab noise is much less and when hammering gas petal through floor it still sounds good

I run Magna's alone.. No cat back. It gets the popping sound I love. Now I'm about to add Basani headers. What kind of sound will I get?(ballpark) I love the set up sound in SRT10VENOMOUS' video clip. Without cat delete I don't think it'll sound nearly like that though. I just want a deep troaty sound when hammering it or when downshifting.

and i see my mileage on overhead consule use to be average 8 to 8.5 now i stay around 10 to 10.5 ,,,even with getting on it all the time ,,,have not seen if hwy mileage went up any

I like the way the Magnaflow sounds....I actually wish it was throatier but that is wishful thinking....I like the way a V8 sounds with dual exhaust but I LOVE the way my V10 sounds with Magnaflow.

The catalytic converters hurt the tonal quality as much as anything in these trucks.I removed mine and kept the stock muffler and it sounds great to me.And it cost a LOT less than headers and catback ,but I am a stingy ol' bastage.

I bought mine brand new. A couple years ago I was told I had resonators under mine when she was getting dyno'd. THEN later someone else looking under there said I didn't have resonators. Now you guys are saying '04s never had 'em. I don't know what believe anymore.. UNLESS, the first person saw the four cats and thought the Magnaflow was it.. :dontknow: (the first person that did the dyno WAS more familiar with Mustangs)
