Has anyone been keeping up with this one? I have noticed a lot of the live shows like Leno are now on reruns and from what I hear a lot the the series are getting ready to go into reruns since they only tape two or three weeks ahead.

At least college football does not use writers so my saturdays are safe for now:)

From what I can read about this the writers are not asking for too much. Can't we all get along so I can get back to watching my shows:(

Football sucks so I'm glad I have rabbit ears. :D

Since I missed all the shows for the last couple years, I can get caught up now. ;) ;) ;)

Sad thing is, it is causing layoffs for people :( :( :(

I am glad they are Union and have the right to strike though. Live Better, Work Union :D

Tinfoil on the rabbit ears helps:D Make sure you hold the left one with your right hand and lift your left leg to get the best reception:D

It is sad, a lot of other people that can not afford to be out of work are now sitting at home due to nothing they have done.

My point exactly, but at least the ones who have the right to strike are doing what they gotta do to maintain their standards

I watch very little (if any) commercial TV anymore...... Too many commercials.

I don't watch any commercials thanks to tivo. The only ones to watch these days are the superbowl commercials and they have been a little lacking the last two years.

Cant back you on the unions Denise.....98% of what TV I watch is reruns anyway...I hope the SOBs starve....is that too harsh?....:dontknow: ;)

Harsh????? Not at all ;) :D

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is that is causing this stike, because I probably don't really care, but I the unions because I believe in what they stand fo. I know alot of people feel differently these days, but I think if there were more Unions around we would have less minimum wage and more skilled workers.

Isn't everything relative:dontknow: The money writers make compared to actors and the network is pretty slim, isn't it??

A very successful writer might make that, but I'd bet the most don't make that much. Kind of the same thing when the pro baseball players went on strike. It's hard for the vast majority of us to sympathize with people that can make large amounts of money.
