If you want a great 45 and have the cash kimber is the route to go. If you want a 45 you gonna shot alot and can through in the mud and fire springfield XD tactical IMO.

Had the Kimber and the Springfield a Wilson Combat and several Colts.I am a confirmed Les Baer fan now.No going back for me.

That is a very good gun. I shoot mine at least 4 to 5 times a month at least 100 rnds each time. With yours do you target shoot alot or more for protection? Les Baer is a nice handling piece but I would just destroy something that nice. I know gatguns.com carries those I just don't know what models they have.

I HAD the Thunder Ranch model.Just for protection.

Sold it to buy a Les Baer Custom Carry without front slide serrations ( I HATE those things ! ) Not sure when,but I will eventually get it.Have quite enough guns now,really.
