that is horrible. my wife's divorced parents used to greyhound her back and forth for visitation. she says only excon's and serial killers go greyhound.

RCMP Release Little At Press Conference

Little detail was released today in Winnipeg regarding the brutal slaying of a young male in a Greyhound bus just outside of Portage.
RCMP held a press conference this afternoon at 'D' Division Headquarters. Sergeant Steve Colwell began the conference by praising the efforts of the 35 other people on the bus last night. Colwell says the passengers and driver of the bus did an excellent job of evacuating safely, which ensured more weren't injured. He then broke down the scene explaining that RCMP received the call at around 8:30 yesterday evening. When crews arrived passengers and the driver had evacuated and the suspect was alone with the victim on the bus. Attempts were made at getting the man to exit the bus, however they were unsuccessful. Additional resources were called in including the RCMP Emergency Response and Negotiation teams. Police arrested the 40 year old suspect, who is believed to be from out of province, when he attempted to jump out of a broken window. He remains in custody. Police aren't releasing the suspects name. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Earlier today two passengers from the bus said the victim had been stabbed between 50-60 times before he was beheaded. RCMP were only able to confirm it was a stabbing. More information regarding charges and the investigation are expected to be released tomorrow. Police were also unable to confirm if there was a reason behind the stabbing or if drugs or alcohol were involved. Charges are currently pending.

That's part of the lib/socialist doctrine. It is difficult to control an independant, self reliant, ARMED populace.

I wonder how many people on that bus were thinking,' shure am glad I'm here in Canada where no one is allowed to carry a weapon for self defence because the polititians said we didn't need to, that's what the police are for!'

Armed or not I couldn't stand by and watch that happen. Might not be the smartest move, but how in hell could you look at yourself in the mirror every morning knowing you let that happen?
