it has now changed. They just released info and have changed the way their search works. now it searches as you type!!!

Apparently they turned it off. The effect they had was like walking across a floor covered with balloons. The balloons made up the word Google but when you swiped your mouse over it the balloons scattered and then reformed the word Google.
