X-Metal Catless Mids For Sale

I will be pulling my X-Metal catless mids next Friday,March 6 and re-installing the factory cats.

Why ? I got busted for "altered exhaust" by one of the over-zealous pricks in uniform .(oops ! my bad ! I meant to say VA State Trooper)

So,rather than just paying the ticket,I am putting the cats back in and getting it dismissed (they really hate that )

It shows up as "Defective Equipment" when your insurance agent runs a DMV check.

So........................they have about 15,000 miles on them and will probably need to be fitted at a muffler shop.
They have a crossover pipe where they go parallel to each other.This MAY have to be cut for removal,not sure yet.But,it can easily be welded /fitted back together or totally removed.

They bolt on to the manifold,but they will have to be fitted where they go into your "catback".They were modified to fit my stock 2 1/2" catback.

These are 3" . ANY competent exhaust/muffler shop can hook them up in 20-30 mins,easy.

But ,they are not true "bolt-on". Actually,when they were new they didn't bolt on.They were too long.

Your turner can help you out, mine did. I'm not running any cats either...and NO body is toughter than CALIFORNIA! So what you do is have your turner cut-off the gas on de-cel....NO popping! And doesn't change the rumble.....:rock:

It was cackling a little (if anything) but not backfiring .I have already had that done.Typical of most VA state troopers he was just being a prick.

I am likely selling the truck this summer anyway so it worked out ok.

So they are off
They don't look bad at all ,just a little surface rust
We had to cut through the "H" cross-over pipe to get them out ,but that is easily welded or make a slip-joint over that section(or close off both ends,but the trucks sound MUCH better with a crossover)
