x-metal lowering kit

Boomer had a love/hate relation with most members here.
The opinions are mixed...

here is rhe deal his kit was ok his shiping sucked and you have a really hard time gettin ahold of him..........stinkers lowerin kit dont have it but it gets great reviews.....can get a hold of him ...if not he will call you back and tonys shipping frickin rocks........and tony is a supporting vevdor of this sight that is what keeps it goin the choice is yours but here is a link to tonys site www.jtsvp.com

oh i cvan help more with this since i do have a xmetal fit or did i should say........the shocks that come with it ...suck.......it bottomed out ....front springs were too soft......so no i guess i do not like the x metal kit im gettin stinkerized if you use someone elses kit besides stinkers its beggin for problems

Dom's absolutely right. Once, a long time ago Dom ordered a spelling and grammar book from X-Metal and... well, as you can see :dontknow: he never got it.

I personally didn't have any complaints about this kit until recently. I’m starting to hear some creeking and moaning going on under the truck when I take off on 1st. If you're looking for a sweet drop kit, PM Stinker; he'll get you hooked the hell up. That’s what I will do soon.

I have X-Metals and have loved it for 3 years. I can communicate with either Tony or Gary with ease. Both I would consider friends......one sells bikes one drives a big truck, one is a vendor and member in good standings....the other chooses not to be.

I also have X-Metal kit front and rear, with no problems. But I agree Tony is easier to get in touch with.

I have had both.X-Metal has some really nice billet aluminum engraved rear blocks,Stinkers has nice aluminum blocks that work great (just doesn't have the "bling-bling") and has them in different sizes depending on how much drop you want
The springs for the front are where the major difference lies : X-Metal lowered mine very well,but with my aggressive road-carving,they were just too soft for my liking.
Stinkers springs lower,but ALSO help with better handling as they are 10% stiffer than stock ( I ordered mine 20% stiffer :rock: )

Stinker also sells QC lowering/handling kits

I have X-Metal's 1/2 kit...no problems except the shocks supplied with the kit are POS...just keep the OEM shocks.... but no way I would buy one today...No customer service with X-Metal..........talk to Stinker if you want one..

Ditto. Have stock shocks with X-metal lowering...no problems so far...if and when I have problems, I will go to Stinker.

the x kit works well, but the shocks are jsut monroe maggies, last about 15,000 or so, stick with the oem shocks
