There was info in there about notching something so the Yahoos can align the front end !!!I've got a lot of Neg Camber,and Caster could stand to be a little better !!It sounds like these guys won't do it,so I'm going to have to so the alignment can be a little better !!:dontknow:

BlackKnight and myself just did an 06 QC a couple weeks ago...what do you need to know.?!

Hey Red;

I would interested in knowing what issues and caveats you ran into... while do the 06 QC... I want to do mine here shortly... and want to go into it as prepared as possible.

You can buy drill bits that do the job perfectly ( Cant remember the name of them ) But they are made for that exact job Ill see if I can get some Pics up when I head to the garage I did my kit in. It took like 1hr total to do all of the notching for mine. Elongated the Holes 1/4" Outwards for the 1/2 kit and it was perfect.

That's what I get for not reading the directions thoroughly before starting this endeavor !!!:2in1: What a maroon !!!

Proper tools make a big diffrence, but without someone to help it can take 10 hrs!!! :burnout:

I just need the info on the control arm modification for Alignment purposes !!!:dontknow:

Take your tire off, look at the upper "A-Arm"
Where it connect to the frame, there are 2 bolts
remove those bolts, and elongate the holes TOWARDS YOU (towards the fenders) about 1/4 inch.

Thats it...drive it down to the alignment shop.

OR

Drive it down to an allignment shop and have them deal with the holes, but you will pay $$ for it.

Go to Lowes and get you one of THESE for your Dremel.... should do the trick. :dontknow: ;)

I ended up taking my truck to an alignment shop since it took an entire day to put the drop kit on with Red and JR helping out. The 06's adjust on the lower arms, not the top. The alignment shop maxed mine out on the bottom adjustments and still had to slot the upper a-arm mounting holes.

I posted pics of what mine looked like after the drop kit was installed here:
