We are closing in on 1/2 million posts here, and close to 25k threads! In fact we are about 1500 posts away, that's after I got done deleting posts tonight that had that "f word" in non-offensive sections.
(reminder to all - don't do that heheheheh)

Anyway, looks like it won't be long until we hit that milestone. Here's to another 1/2 million here.

Technical question:

Would it not be possible, rather than delete posts in which we have erred in our choice of expletives, to have a substitute "edited" strike over?

Seems that would be easier on you too. I think the inner workings of this site would allow for all offensive words posted to be immediately edited by the use of programming rather than manual review and alteration...especially if we are only dealing with one word.

Just asking...seems like a good enhancement for all of us...in the sections where such language has been deemed inappropriate.
