I can sure relate with this thread being the proud owner of a 1987 Shelby GLHS # 241 0f 1000 and it used to embaress the shit out of big block cars and every Mustang,Vette, Ferrari, Porsche,TA/Camaro and even the Grand National Buick which was the fastest "production car" made in 87 ( US MADE)
It was/is stupid fast. Shelby built all 1000 car identical with only the # on the nameplate that differed. Top speed was only 153 but for a 4 banger it was pretty good. Never got her to the track but restoring her now and hope to see what she is capable of.
