Hi all, long time no post!
I need to replace the front brake pads on my 05 Quad Cab (31K miles).
Does anyone have a recommendation for brake pads that do not dust as badly as the stock pads?
Thanks!
Thanks for the input guys.
Are all of you guys happy with the ride? Do you know if it's ok to tow with this kit? I occasionally tow an open car trailer with one of my cars.
Sammy, what kind of "hitting" issues are you talking about? Wheels hitting a suspension component? Something else?
Thanks for the response!
Is this the kit you are refering to?
JTSVP EDITION SERIES RAM SRT-10 QC 2/5 EXTREME LOWERING KIT - JTS Venom Performance
Outnumbered, is that the kit you have on your truck? (it looks AWESOME!)
Thanks for the invite Rudolph. I don't check this forum often.
It was nice meeting Rick (thanks for the drink, I owe you one!) and Kyle.
Now I have the bug for more mods again:rock:
Thanks for the replies. If it's only worth a couple of HP I'll just do a K&N drop-in in the near future.
A couple of more questions, I just did a Magnaflow exhaust (sounds great!). About how much HP is that worth? Their website says ~15 HP and 22 pound feet, is that legit?
Lastly, any...
I'm sure this has been asked before but does anyone know if a CAI is worth it? My truck is 100% stock (installing a Magnaflow exhaust this weekend that I got for a great deal). Do the CAI's make any extra HP? K&N claims 19 HP is this legit? BS?
Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions! I might consider option 1 with RC springs up front.
Alexspop, thanks for the response. I had a feeling the Pirellis might be the problem. My truck only has 10K miles so it will take me a while to get new tires.
BTW, what vibration problem are you guys talking about? Because my truck has had an "unbalanced" tire vibration since it was brand new. Dealer tried rebalancing the tires and no luck.
Thanks.
Hello all, I have not posted (or visited the site) in a LOOOOONG time (nearly 3 years!) but still got my SRT-10:)
Got a question for you guys, what is a good kit or way to lower my truck? I do use it for towing (open car trailer) from time to time so I need a kit that can accommodate that as...
It will be tough for a Z06 to do this. Keep in mind this Viper has a stroked 510 CI motor, it's hard to compete with that much displacement and 35+ PSI from a pair of 76mm turbos.
