just a thought
were is the actual truck which broke the record for fastest production pickup?
it was a red rc correct me if im wrong
or what happened to it ???

cheers scott

Bet it went to the SRT 10 Track Experience and has now been sold as a promotional vehicle...

Another bit of trivia...when the record was set there was a fear that Ford would try to beat the record by a little before they shut down the Lightening line. To be sure that there was an immediate come back opportunity, the truck that set the record, ran with the mirrors in the regular position. Engineers thought that if need be, they could fold the mirrors in and get an additional two or three miles per hour without any work.

A little trivia for your treasure chest!
