considering new shifter ... have a question

Long time ago I heard that Hurst had a fix. What happened to that?

Good question and one I was going to ask. You can get any aftermarket shifter but nothing screams Mopar and looks as badass as the [HURST] logo in that handle IMO. From the old Pistol Grips till nowadays, Hurst has been there. Any fixes or mods to be able to use the Hurst or the handle?

I think Hurst dropped the ball on the fix since the truck went out of production. I had the t handle in mine for six months. Put the ball back on one day and WOW what a difference for the better. The t handle does not feel as natural as the ball. It looks cool as sh#t but the ball shifts way better IMO.

Carl, install your gen x and make your own conclusions........I truly feel anything is an upgrade over the sloppy stocker.

Sure..........now get the shifter installed and try it out yourself. The install is really simple. I have taken mine in and out prolly half a dozen times.

I gave up on the aftermarket shifters and trans fluid, I learned to shift with the stock Hurst and stock factory trans fluid. My truck sounds solid and quite now.:bebored:
